Regular -re verbs in the present tense

- Some verbs in French end in -re.
- To form the present tense of most -re verbs, take off the -re and add -s, -s, -[nothing], -ons, -ez, -ent.
There is another group of regular verbs which end in -re. The verb rendre which means to give back is an –re verb and it conjugates as follows:

Note
Not all verbs ending -re are regular verbs. For example prendre has the nous form prenons and not prendons
